Dr. Heather Gill, Owner/Veterinarian
Dr. Heather Gill grew up in Summerville, SC and attended Auburn University, where she met her husband. She graduated from Auburn University’s College of Veterinary Medicine in 2010 and has practiced in Mobile & Baldwin counties ever since. She and her husband have two children, as well as a Brittany Spaniel (Lilly) and two cats (Lulu & Elsa). The Gills enjoy spending time as a family, boating, and being at the beach.
Olivia
Olivia is an Alabama implant. She was born in Memphis, Tennessee, but raised in Colorado. She moved down to South Alabama to be closer to her family after finishing college. Though she came from the music industry,
Olivia found her calling in the Veterinary medical field. Her family has always been heavily involved in animal rescue, but she preferred the medical side. Olivia is back in school to get her Veterinary Technician License. She has a love for internal medicine and hopes to specialize in it after receiving her general license. Her fur animals are her whole life outside of work as she has a full house with 4 dogs and 1 cat. Her boyfriend has capped her at 5 pets total or else she would have 10 more!
Keri
Keri joined the Loxley Animal Hospital staff in the Spring of 2022. Keri has dreamed of helping animals since she was little. Now, that dream is a reality and she couldn’t be happier. She was born and raised in Baldwin County, AL. She currently lives in Loxley with her 2 cats, Mila & Sebastian, and her pig, Hamilton. In her free time, she enjoys going to the beach with her boyfriend.
Tonya
Tonya was born and raised in Walker County, Alabama. In the summer of 2020, her family moved to South Alabama and are loving living here. Tonya has been married to her husband for over 10 years. They have 3
kids and a loyal Morkie, Barkley. Tonya has worked as a receptionist in the veterinary world for over 5 years. She loves getting to work with both the pet owners and their furbabies.
Laura
Laura grew up in Fairhope, went to the University of South Alabama and became a travel agent. She ad numerous pets growing up, rescued several animals, and earned her nickname, Ellie Mae. After her travel career, she wanted to fulfill her dream of working in an animal related field, so she became a veterinary receptionist. Laura and her husband of 26 years were in the dairy business when they married, and although the dairy is no longer in operation, he is still a farmer. They enjoy spending time with family and friends. They have a Cairn Terrier (Stuie) and chickens.
Kourtney
Kourtney is originally from the Loxley/Robertsdale area. She has worked in the veterinary field for over 5 years and her favorite part is getting to love on all the furbabies. She has 4 dogs – Woody, Whiskey, Wilson, & Gus. In her free time, Kourtney enjoys boating and spending time with her husband and son.
