Ultrasound is a non-invasive diagnostic tool that we use to look internally at a pet. While radiographs (x-rays) allow us to see the size & shape of internal organs, ultrasound gives us the ability to look within those organs to get a three-dimensional view. This can help with diagnosis of tumors, fluid buildup, foreign bodies, bladder stones, pregnancy, and many other disease processes Our state-of-the-art ultrasound also allows us to connect virtually with a board certified ultrasonographer to get a second opinion on our findings when needed.
